Warmachine is a New York-based band founded in 2023 by longtime collaborators Lex Pappas and Brendan Fullerton in Boston, MA. With the addition of bassist Arro Niskey, their turbulent brand of guitar psychosis could reasonably be filed under shoegaze or post-hardcore or noise or even just ear-splitting (celebratory). Fueled by a love for DIY and a near religious connection to volume, warmachine attacks their instruments as if there's personal beef between them boiling over, kicking up a racket that's bracingly intense.
